Before checking out House of Ninja, I hadn’t watched a Japanese Drama in years. Previous attempts to get Back in J-dramas always resulted in me being turned off by the overacting, perpetual school settings and if I saw one more damsel in distress scene or someone crying in the rain I was going to punch my viewing device. I hadn’t even heard of House of Ninja (or “Shinobi” for those who are in the know) before but it was a really fun and interesting series to watch for me.
House of Ninjas Story
The 8-episode 1st season follows a family of ninjas, known as shinobi, as they struggle to connect as a family and return to the shinobi lifestyle. Great casting, fight scenes, and quirky music selections had me feeling like I was right there with my favourite characters on their emotional rollercoasters.
